# Codex work — 24 Oct 2026

**Reporting window:** 2026-10-17 through 2026-10-24 inclusive. All conversation dates and times below use **EDT (America/New_York, UTC−04:00)**. Prepared on 2026-10-24.

## Summary

This report covers **14 user-facing Codex conversations across seven projects**: Dashdia, Igloo v2, Bark, IVR, Ortui, AskAI, and Codex configuration. Conversations qualify when their latest message falls within the reporting window and they concern projects worked on during October. The table is ordered by latest message, newest first. Internal implementation workers and reviewers are folded into their parent project conversations rather than counted as separate threads.

**Nine conversations reached a conclusion; five did not.** A conclusion can be a delivered change, an answered question, a completed review, or an explicit handoff with a blocker. It does not automatically mean that a feature shipped or that operational acceptance passed. The Codex thread store marks ten conversations **Active** and four **Archived**; those flags describe storage state, not whether work is running or complete.

The clearest current implementation target is **Dashdia 0.2.11**: scope and feasibility are settled, but product implementation has not started. Igloo v2 has two unfinished conversations that need reconciliation before further release work. Bark's catalog/settings delivery and recorded v0.2.0 publication concluded. IVR remains behind an operational approval boundary, and Ortui has a completed draft-PR handoff without a recorded merge or release.

> **AI Passport access verified — recreated 2026-10-27.** The original connector approval blocker is resolved for issue/PR reads. The conversation register and local repository facts remain the original 2026-10-24 baseline; the separate refresh below reports returned states as of 2026-10-27.

## AI Passport refresh — 2026-10-27

**Retrieved:** 2026-10-27T09:55:10-04:00 (America/New_York).

The original 2026-10-24 report stopped at an unapproved connector request. On 2026-10-27, Passport reports memory open, GitHub (private repos) linked, and an existing permanent pass for this app to read github-private / projects.items. Successful reads verify that access now works. No new grant, reconnect or settings change was required; the time the pass was approved is unknown.

The 14 conversation entries, archive flags, conclusions, next actions and local checkout snapshots below retain the original 2026-10-24 baseline. They were not reread for 2026-10-27. Use the separate Passport refresh for returned issue/PR states; reconcile historical next actions before resuming work.

These are bounded keyword-search results (up to 50 rows per query), filtered to the six report repositories and deduplicated by source URL. Some searches returned cross-repository matches and two repo-qualified searches returned no matches. Coverage is not exhaustive. Only titles, source URLs and open/closed states were returned: closed does not establish merged, and draft status, exact head, CI, reviews, releases and tags remain unverified by this refresh.

The failed queries were `repo:ktalanov/dashdia` and `repo:ktalanov/ortui`; plain keywords returned records. This observation does not establish the connector's complete query grammar.

### Dashdia — 4 returned items

PR #4 is open and PR #3 is closed in the returned data. The connector does not expose draft or merged flags, so the original merge/draft descriptions remain historical conversation evidence.

- [issue #1: feat: multi-category schema & Cloudflare D1 migration](https://github.com/ktalanov/dashdia/issues/1) — **open**

## Conversation register · historical baseline

**Thread state** is the Codex archive flag. **Concluded?** is a judgment based on the last conversation message. Dates identify each conversation's latest message, not the date of every action summarized in its row.

| Latest message (EDT) | Project / conversation | Thread state | Concluded? | Recorded outcome and current conclusion | Next action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-24 00:30 | **Dashdia** — documentation sync, then 0.2.11 scope and feasibility | Archived | **No** — last message was an assistant progress note, not a final response | The 0.2.10 report evidence was delivered through merged PR #3. The user selected 0.2.11; draft PR #4 was opened, its plan frozen, and feasibility passed. Product implementation has not started. Schema 9 and the 28-field export remain design targets; migration and recovery still need verification. | Implement **0.2.11**, then stop. Keep 0.2.12 pending and 0.2.4 paused. |
| 2026-10-23 02:52 | **Igloo v2** — reconcile 4.2.0 / 4.2.1 releases and the checkout | Active | **No** — the user last requested a comparison of repo-root files before implementation | The earlier approved plan was to backfill historical 4.2.0, preserve 4.2.1 as Latest, and move the checkout to `main` after preserving local changes. The local snapshot now shows clean `main`, but there is no live remote readback in this report establishing the release repair. | Compare the exact repo-root files and reconcile local state first. Complete any still-needed release repair within its grants; consult the 2026-10-27 Passport refresh for returned item states. |
| 2026-10-23 02:47 | **Igloo v2** — design a publish-only `igloo-release` skill | Active | **No** — user approval was the final message, with no subsequent assistant response | The design was approved with a provisional package target of 4.3.0. Candidate verification, publication, and tagging require their respective grants; installation is separate. `skills/igloo-release` does not currently exist. | Reconcile the preceding release audit, then implement the approved skill design. Obtain separate grants for publication/tagging and installation when those actions are reached. |
| 2026-10-22 23:40 | **Igloo v2** — quick plugin-familiarity question | Active | **Yes** — Q&A answered | The assistant confirmed familiarity and outlined the workflow skills. The conversation occurred from the `halp` / AskAI workspace, but its subject was Igloo v2; it does not count as AskAI product work. | None from this conversation. |
| 2026-10-22 06:36 | **Bark** — 0.2.1 catalog/settings implementation and 0.2.0 publication | Active | **Yes** — delivery and release evidence recorded | Delivered an explicit-refresh model catalog and persisted/sent the exact selected model. The conversation recorded guided GTK acceptance, independent reviews, and v0.2.0 release readback. Following the user's correction, recorded cost figures were **0.03¢ per sample, 0.15¢ per nominal minute, and $0.09 per hour**. | Planned follow-ups include the **0.2.5 blind model comparison** and **0.2.4 install guide**. Their ordering was not established here. |
| 2026-10-22 06:02 | **Bark** — clarify the goal objective | Archived | **No** — the assistant ended with a scope question | The last message asked whether to implement diagnostics before release or ship the catalog slice. This individual thread did not resolve that choice, although the adjacent 0.2.1 conversation subsequently proceeded. | No independent action. Use the follow-on catalog/settings conversation as the resolution context. |
| 2026-10-21 06:47 | **Dashdia** — daily Focus-board prioritization and delivery | Active | **Yes** — delivery recorded | Reordered the roadmap toward practical daily project tracking and delivered the 0.2.8 Focus-board loop: choose work, pin it, write the next action, change status, reload/resume, and finish. Checks, review, and push were recorded. | Continue with the currently selected **0.2.11** slice. Avoid reopening architecture work or the paused import slice by implication. |
| 2026-10-20 19:57 | **IVR** — Phase 10 staging grant and approval worksheet | Active | **Yes** — handoff with an explicit blocker | The grant packet for candidate `00905bf` was missing. At the user's request, the assistant created a fillable `PHASE10.md` worksheet marked **DRAFT / NOT APPROVED**. Live staging did not start. | Complete and approve the grant worksheet, then re-baseline the current exact head and dirty worktree before any staging. |
| 2026-10-20 15:15 | **Ortui** — PR #20 attribution and status repair handoff | Active | **Yes** — documentation handoff complete | Completed documentation repair at `7aacb2d`; the conversation recorded passing CI and independent reviews. PR #20 was recorded as **open/draft** at handoff, with no merge or release. | Resolve the PR handoff/acceptance before the planned **v0.7.0 UI/UX** work. Refresh remote state before making a current PR-status claim. |
| 2026-10-20 13:35 | **Dashdia** — paused 0.2.4 import-preview continuation | Archived | **No** — interrupted with remaining review and UI work | The last assistant note directed a future worker to resume from a saved checkpoint. Reviewer work and the UI remained unfinished. The current plan explicitly preserves 0.2.4 as **paused**. | None until the user explicitly reselects it. Do not resume it over the selected 0.2.11 slice. |
| 2026-10-20 10:30 | **AskAI** — shell alias intercepting the launcher | Active | **Yes** — launcher issue resolved | Removed the alias that intercepted the launcher. Both `askai` and `,askai` worked from a fresh shell. No code follow-up was left. | Only if an existing shell still holds the old alias: run `unalias askai` once or open a fresh terminal. |
| 2026-10-18 11:23 | **IVR** — Phase 10 feasibility review | Active | **Yes** — review completed | Found a **P2** issue: the `forward_call` graph lacked a required unconditional fallback edge. A later repair addressed it at `00905bf`. The review itself did not authorize staging. | If Phase 10 resumes, verify the repaired graph and review against the current exact head, then use separately approved operational staging. |
| 2026-10-18 01:54 | **Igloo v2** — whether to use Goal mode with `igloo-implement` | Archived | **Yes** — advice delivered | Recommended Goal mode for substantial, already scoped tasks and ordinary invocation for small fixes. The skill already owns the workflow, so the user need not restate its procedure. | None from this conversation. |
| 2026-10-17 11:18 | **Codex configuration** — explicit model/effort delegation and stalled-command policy | Active | **Yes** — configuration discussion closed after user thanks | Updated `~/.codex/AGENTS.md` with the delegation and command-stall policy. This was local configuration work with no GitHub remote. | None from this conversation. |

## Highest-workload project context

The three projects below are ranked using a **rough proxy from recorded parent and delegated work volume**. This is not time tracking, a billing measure, or a claim about hours spent. Their conversations remain in the register above.

### 1. Dashdia

Dashdia's work moved from broad planning toward a usable daily tracking loop. The 0.2.8 Focus board supplied a concrete routine for choosing work, pinning it, recording the next action, changing status, and resuming after a reload. Later documentation work reconciled the report delivery, and the conversation records 0.2.10 evidence as delivered through merged PR #3.

The current selected slice is **0.2.11**, on `codex/business-assessments-0.2.11` at `a13a068`. The checkout is clean, and locally recorded upstream counts are 0 ahead / 0 behind. The conversation records draft PR #4, a frozen plan, and a successful feasibility pass. Those are preparation milestones: no product implementation has been completed for the slice. The final progress note specifically leaves migration and recovery to be verified; schema 9 and the 28-field export describe the intended design.

The historical next action was to implement and verify 0.2.11, then stop at that boundary. **0.2.12 remained pending.** The unfinished 0.2.4 import-preview branch was deliberately paused, with review and UI work outstanding. The separate 2026-10-27 Passport refresh now confirms PR #4 open and PR #3 closed; it does not establish draft, merged or implementation status.

### 2. Igloo v2

Igloo v2 has two related unfinished conversations. One concerns reconciling historical 4.2.0 publication, preserving 4.2.1 as Latest, and putting the checkout on `main` without losing local work. The other approved a publish-only `igloo-release` skill, provisionally targeting package 4.3.0. Two smaller Q&A conversations clarified plugin familiarity and when Goal mode adds value to an `igloo-implement` invocation.

The local checkout is now clean `main` at `8c39569`, with locally recorded upstream counts of 0 ahead / 0 behind. That confirms the checkout snapshot, but does not establish whether the historical release repair has been completed remotely. The release-audit conversation ends with the user's request to compare the repo-root files before implementation. Separately, the skill-design conversation ends at user approval, and `skills/igloo-release` does not currently exist.

The historical next step was to reconcile the exact root files and checkout with the release-audit conversation, then complete any still-needed release repair and implement the approved skill within the applicable grants. The 2026-10-27 refresh returns later closed PRs #13/#18; reconcile those records before reusing this old action list. Publication/tagging and installation remain distinct actions with separate authorization. Issue/PR access now works; release publication and tags were not verified by this refresh.

### 3. Bark

Bark's main delivery conversation covered explicit-refresh model discovery, settings persistence, and sending the exact selected model to the provider. It recorded guided GTK acceptance and independent reviews, followed by v0.2.0 publication and remote release readback. The user's cost correction was incorporated: **0.03¢ for the sample, 0.15¢ for a nominal minute, and $0.09 for an hour**. These figures are the recorded conversation result, not a new pricing check or a new usage measurement.

The current local snapshot is `main` at `c9dc803`, whose subject is `chore(version): bump version to 0.2.1 patch fix release`. An untracked `assets/` directory remains preserved. The local 0.2.1 commit and the historical v0.2.0 release evidence describe different checkpoints; this report does not infer a newer published release from the local version bump.

The catalog/settings conversation concluded. Its preceding goal-clarification thread did not individually conclude, but needs no separate restart because the adjacent conversation proceeded. Planned follow-ups include the **0.2.5 blind model comparison** and **0.2.4 install guide**. The evidence does not establish their ordering. Any fresh release-state claim will need live readback outside the scope of the issue/PR refresh; the completed GTK/provider acceptance remains evidence for the candidate and request recorded in that conversation.

## Local repository and worktree snapshot · 2026-10-24 baseline

This table separates current local checkout evidence from historical conversation outcomes. **Ahead/behind values use locally recorded tracking information; they are not a fresh fetch or live GitHub readback.** Preserve all listed unrelated changes before resuming work.

## Specific next actions · historical baseline; reconcile with refresh

- **Dashdia:** implement the selected 0.2.11 plan, verify migration and recovery as well as the intended schema/export behavior, then stop. Leave 0.2.12 pending and 0.2.4 paused.
- **Igloo v2:** compare and reconcile the repo-root files first. Establish what remains of the 4.2.0 / 4.2.1 release repair, then implement the approved `igloo-release` design. Keep release/tagging and installation grants separate.
- **Bark:** choose between the already planned 0.2.5 blind comparison and 0.2.4 install guide when resuming. Preserve untracked assets; do not infer publication of 0.2.1 from the local commit.
- **IVR:** complete the fillable Phase 10 grant worksheet and obtain approval. Re-baseline the dirty checkout and current exact head, including the repaired fallback graph, before any staging. The worksheet and prior feasibility review are not staging authorization.
- **Ortui:** reconcile PR #20's current remote state and finish its handoff/acceptance before starting the planned v0.7.0 UI/UX work. The recorded checkpoint is an open draft, not a merge.
- **AskAI:** no implementation follow-up. Use a fresh shell or `unalias askai` only if an old shell still retains the removed alias.
- **Codex configuration:** no outstanding action from the concluded conversation.
- **Live GitHub refresh:** issue/PR reads now work through the existing permanent Passport pass. See the separate 2026-10-27 refresh and saved evidence; the old approval link is no longer an action item. Release publication, merge/draft flags, CI and exact heads remain outside the returned evidence.
